Why is Abacast better?
Abacast's Peer-Assisted Streaming Technology includes a client-side plug-in that communicates with the server in real-time on the status of the end-user's stream quality. If the plug-in finds any problems with the streaming data like missing data (skips), delayed data (buffers), or a dropped connection (breaks), it automatically redirects the streaming connection to fill-in the missing data BEFORE it plays on the user's media player. This creates a more stable streaming connection with fewer breaks, skips, or buffers compared to standard unicast streaming technology.
